Thoughts from John Montagna, JC's Cousin

My dear cousin has been foremost on my mind from the moment my parents delivered the terrible news to me. But despite the many tears shed on that day and the days that followed, whenever John-Carlo appears in my thoughts he does not bring sadness with him. Rather I have been remembering the traits that make me love him so much, his sly smile, quick and clever wit and that unique creative spark that made me proud to share a bloodline with him.


It was a joyous gathering at my parents house on April 18, 1992 when he was introduced to the family. I remember the date because it was my 20th birthday and my baby cousin was the best birthday present I could have asked for.
